Martha and Tink have been wanting chicken spaghetti this summer. I kept telling them it was too hot to use the oven. I mean, temps at 100 with feels-like temps (with humidity factored in) around 110. There was no way I was turning on the oven for more than 15 minutes.
With school starting next week, I decided I would start using my slow cooker a week early. Things are going to get busy super fast. Martha’s schedule is crazy so I thought that if I cook in the slow cooker then food will be ready and hot for whenever our crazy schedules allow us to eat dinner. I have pinned recipes on Pinterest for a while now so I started sorting through them. I came across a recipe (quick and easy) for chicken spaghetti. I knew I had to try this one first. Martha and Tink were so excited; hubby was as well as he loves chicken spaghetti.
I found the recipe on Reasons to Skip the Housework. It is super easy. This is not a recipe that you keep in the slow cooker all day; it only takes 2-3 hours on low. This will be added as a family favorite. Everyone loved it! You can find the recipe here.
I was thinking of making a double batch and freezing half of it; I am glad I didn’t. The recipe makes a ton of servings! We had at least 3 servings left. Hubby will take some for lunch and the rest is in the freezer for leftover night.
